CAN I JUST TURN UP AND CLIMB?
Yes - ONLY if you are 18+ competent climber. (you will need to demonstrate essential rope skills to be sign up as a competent climber). You can supervise up to 2 novice climbers or children.
No - if you are not a seasoned climber and 18+. We have a range of supervised sessions for you to try it out or teach you how to become a competent climber (such as private tuition or social climbing club for adults)
Children and minors can not climb unsupervised.
DO YOU HAVE BOULDERING?
No, we don't offer bouldering wall at the moment, but you can use the autobelays.
DO YOU HAVE AUTO-BELAYS?
Yes, we do have automatic belay devices.
HOW TO START CLIMBING?
The best is to try it first with no obligation or commitment. The best for the first time is to try our 'taster session' sessions or 'private tuition' and see if you would like it.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
- a comfortable, non-restrictive sport clothing. No skirts or dresses are allowed. You can bring comfortable shoes, yet we recommend for the first session shoes with as rigid soles as possible. Open toes or heels are not suitable on climbing wall.
You can hire climbing shoes.
- Take off all jewellery and tide up long hair.
WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AGE?- We provide all levels of courses, from absolute beginners to advanced climbers
DO I HAVE TO BUY ALL CLIMBING GEAR TO START CLIMBING?
- No, we provide all essential equipment for our courses. We can also hire it for unsupervised climbers.
WHAT FITNESS LEVEL SHOULD I BE, I DON'T HAVE UPPER BODY STRENGTH, SHALL I GO TO THE GYM AND IMPROVE IT FIRST?
-No, you don't need anything more than average fitness level, upper body strength is one of the myths about rock climbing.
